In einer Heideaufforstung westlich von Gees liegen gut ausgeprägte 'Celtic Fields', teilweise auf kleinen Erhebungen, die von heute vermoorten späteiszeitlichen Flachseen begrenzt sind. Im Süden sind Bereiche der Felder überpflügt oder durch Aufforstungsmaßnahmen zerstört. Die Kleinmoore dürften wichtige Archive zur Nutzungsgeschichte der Felder sein. In a heath afforestation west of Gees there are well pronounced 'Celtic Fields', partly on small elevations, which are bordered by late-glacial shallow lakes that are now boggy.
